java - Is there an image design community that collaborates with developers to create applications with a better and more polished look and feel? -

so after lot of hard (and fun) work in development i’ve gotten close end of application development..or thought. i’m developing game android (but that’s irrelevant post). until now, images/drawables using placeholders took 5 minutes in mspaint create. so, have working game, started trying create visually stimulating game interface. in doing so, have come realize tough, since have virtually 0 experience in image design. ultimately, i’m questioning ability of game successful without polished game interface feel users expect nowadays.

are there individuals willing collaborate on application? there community of designers content work , in return receive name attached application? sunk unless want fork on pretty penny designer? options have , can go put “illustrations in book” speak?

just looking @ sentence should send off bells in head. if there expert @ doing this, charge non-trivial amount time. if want free, pay for.

unfortunately, see delay in completion of game while of sorted out. creation of "polished" interface difficult , time consuming, , not afterthought. next time around, should think hard getting involved earlier in process.

if in shoes, go nearest graphic design school , put flyers / talk career center / etc. may few people bite shipping game on resume.

c++ - Compiling static TagLib 1.6.3 libraries for Windows -

i having super hard time compiling , using taglib 1.6.3 in qt project. i've tried can think of. taglib claims supported through cmake i'm not having luck. furthermore, i'm confused kinds of files need qt libs! i've built *.a files, *.lib, , *.dll. understand far... believe since i'm working in windows *.lib want. no matter do, end "undefined references" taglib functions try use when try compile qt project. have tried mingw32, msys, visual studio 2008, , cross-compiling windows on linux. turning nothing. what makes less sense me if compile same taglib source qt on mac (g++ think?) works fine! somewhere in windows compilation procedures have going wrong. have been smacking face on desk 30 (on , off) hours trying figure out. since qt uses mingw must compile taglib same compiler? if compile *.lib's visual studio not compatible? are *.a libraries usable in windows?
