it goes "menu > level-0 > children > level-1". have bit of jquery looks this:

$(".level-0 > a").click(function() {            $('.level-0 > .children').toggle();            return false;        });

i'm sure smarter me sees problem: onclick opens every 'children' element. how can ask jquery open 'children' element of 'level-0' <li> element click on?

sorry mess. total n00b , way appreciated.

you want use $(this) , .siblings() in case find <ul> relatively, this:

$(".level-0 > a").click(function() {    $(this).siblings('.children').toggle();    return false; });

you can test out here, or add animation, like this.

$(this) jquery wrapped version of current object, , since <ul class="children"> sibling of <a> clicked, .siblings() want find it.
