our development servers on amazons ec2.

we ideally following:

php 5.3.x oracle drivers mhash mcrypt apache

does have recommendation on place stack meet of needs minimum of additional configuration?

for updated base ami's can check ubuntu canonical ami's found @ eric's site: www.alestic.com.

the amazon ami release if prefer centos distro. http://bit.ly/a5fcz3

for security reasons, suggest build own lamp stack.

of course there many existing lamp ami's can find.

i trying extract, say, latest/most recent 5 threads in x section of forums , have 'posted' on website link viewers can go directly thread instead of having browse forum or not. i've seen , read tutorials online but...in honesty, phpbb seems mess me. all appreciated g.campos if don't have access forum' db, might want try phpbb3 portal, such this one . however, if have access mysql(?) db, might want give shot select sentence, such as: select * phpbb_posts forum_id = x order post_time desc limit y"; change 'x' forum id want dump from, , 'y' post_time limit want stop dumping; having in mind facing strtotime times, such 1290886590 . then, execute query , fetch result ( mysql_fetch_array ) formatting on table or whatever want. play post_subject , other columns nice output. luck. edit: have pretty extensive tutorial on phpbb page, here . give look.

drupal - using views argument in the view tpl.php file -

i newby drupal. here problem: on main page.tpl.php have code lines: "if ( $is_front == true ) { print views_embed_view('all_product_by_type_thin', "default", "canon"); print views_embed_view('all_product_by_type_thin', "default", "nikon"); }" as can see, in case of front page print "all_product_by_type_thin" view while sending parameter "cannon" , "nikon" the result of all_product_by_type_thin view altered inside views-view-unformatted--all_product_by_type_thin.tpl.php file. in file wrapping view results in kind of divs. need though, , cant figure out way it, argument sent view "canon" or "nikon" inside php code of views-view-unformatted--all_product_by_type_thin.tpl.php idea ? inside views theme file ie. views-view-unformatted--all_product_by_type_thin.tpl.php should have access $view object. one of attributes of object contain arguments pass...
